Siemens looks to transform emulation and prototyping with Veloce CS system

Siemens Digital Industries Software has launched a new hardware-assisted verification and validation system called Veloce CS, which aims to transform the emulation and prototyping processes for complex chip and system designs.

The Veloce CS system consists of three novel products: Veloce Strato CS, Veloce Primo CS, and Veloce proFPGA CS. These products leverage the latest AMD Versal Premium VP1902 FPGA-based adaptive SoC, which delivers high performance, scalability, and flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Veloce Strato CS: The next-generation emulation platform

Veloce Strato CS is the successor of the Veloce Strato emulation platform, which has been widely used by chip designers and system integrators for verifying large-scale ASICs and SoCs. Veloce Strato CS offers significant improvements over its predecessor, such as:
