FPT Industrial showcases its innovative and sustainable engines at ARA Show 2024

FPT Industrial, the Iveco Group brand dedicated to the design, production, and sale of low-environmental impact powertrains, exhibited its wide range of engines for industrial and marine applications at the ARA Show 2024, the world’s largest equipment and event rental trade show, held in New Orleans from Feb. 19-21.

The ARA Show 2024 attracted thousands of equipment and event rental professionals from around the world, who had the opportunity to discover the latest trends, products, and industry insights. FPT Industrial was among the hundreds of exhibitors who showcased their solutions for the rental market, highlighting their efficiency, reliability, and low total cost of ownership.

FPT Industrial’s booth featured some of its most popular and innovative engines, such as the F1C, the N45, the N67, the Cursor 9, and the Cursor 16. These engines cover a power range from 50 to 735 hp and comply with the stringent emission standards up to Stage V. They are suitable for various applications, such as construction, agriculture, material handling, power generation, and marine.

One of the highlights of FPT Industrial’s display was the Cursor 16, the largest and most powerful engine in its portfolio. The Cursor 16 is a 16-liter, 6-cylinder engine that delivers up to 735 hp and 3,500 Nm of torque. It is designed to power heavy-duty machines, such as large excavators, wheel loaders, and cranes. The Cursor 16 features FPT Industrial’s patented HI-eSCR2 aftertreatment system, which ensures high performance and low emissions without the need for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).

Another engine that drew attention was the F1C, a 3-liter, 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 169 hp and 430 Nm of torque. The F1C is a versatile and compact engine that can power light and medium-duty machines, such as skid steer loaders, telehandlers, and aerial platforms. The F1C is also available in a natural gas version, which reduces CO2 emissions by up to 15% compared to the diesel version. FPT Industrial is a leader in natural gas engines, offering the most complete line-up of natural gas engines for industrial applications on the market.

FPT Industrial also presented its marine engines, which are designed to meet the specific needs of the marine sector. The marine engines range from 85 to 607 hp and are suitable for both leisure and commercial boats. FPT Industrial’s marine engines are characterized by high performance, low noise, and reduced fuel consumption. They also feature FPT Industrial’s patented Sea Torque system, which optimizes the engine’s torque curve and improves the boat’s maneuverability and acceleration.

To demonstrate the performance and reliability of its engines, FPT Industrial also displayed some of the machines and boats powered by its engines, such as the IVECO Daily van, the Case IH Farmall tractor, the Manitou telehandler, the Sunseeker yacht, and the Boston Whaler boat.

FPT Industrial’s booth also featured a dedicated area for its ePowertrain division, which is accelerating the path towards net zero-emissions mobility, with electric drivelines, battery packs, and battery management systems. FPT Industrial’s ePowertrain solutions are designed to offer high efficiency, modularity, and scalability for various applications, such as urban delivery, municipal services, and passenger transport.
